Error opening

The application will not even open on my MacBook Pro in order to properly evaluate Lion.

quite nice app… but can you explain me, how to show the temp of the cores when CheckMyTemp is cloed? Because if i close the program the temp disappeares? But thanks anyways ;)

good: its working without installation of additional drivers like some competitors do, low energy / cpu load not so good: this version however lacks features that can be found on the page of the producer, like fan control. no history view on the temp data. writing data to a logfile for excel or numbers analysis is lame. i do not like the ui which uses much real estate on the screen. all information could be presented in ¼ of that space.

I had used the 1.0 version on our 64 bit iMac and just tried out this 1.1 version (works on 64 & 32 bit) on our 32 bit processor Macbook. Worked just fine. Its nice to know all is running well.

This is useless for me as it wont even start. The icon jumps around for a bit, then a dialog shows that says the app quit unexpctedly would you like to report it to Apple? gee whiz...

Works well!

Didnt originally work on my MBP, however this latest update and it works great. I like being able to see the temp in the menu bar.

How many Updates!

I get at least 1 update for this program every week. It isnt that difficult to update, but it is frustrating when you do it over and over again.

Works great on my MBP. Told me exactly what I wanted to know. An alarm for overheat would be kewl if they put it in however as a indicator as to when to blow the dust out the computer it will work nicely. It is rather inconvienient to disassemble a MBP to blow it out, if it is not necessary as they are built well and it takes quite a while before they need this maintenance, this is a very good tool for the toolbox.

Just like it should, this app simply works. There are plenty of preferences to choose from, and the minimalistic menubar design was exactly what I was looking for. This app allows you to view all the temperatures on your computer as well as fan speed. I would recommend this app if youre concerned about your laptops temperature, and want to know exactly what is going on inside your machine. Great app!

I modded my desk below my MacBook Pro with a number of fans (3), a fan speed selector (on dial, up to 3,000RPM), and a nice white LED… however, not knowing if my mods was successful, I needed just such an application. Ran it, used it, love it. Thanks a lot. :)

It just works. Easy to understand interface and the live updates in the toolbar are as plain as can be. The actual application is great too, showing more than enough info for the OCD inspector but also providing plain infromation for the casual user. To me this was well worth the few coins. Only con for me (not really much of one, just opinion on aesthetics) is that of the actual live toolbar update pane. Make the font a bit smaller so that it doesnt take up a lot of space. I dont know about you but alot of Mac Users will probably have alot of live panes on the toolbar and this one takes up a signifigant about of space. Just a little tid bit. This is also spares the RAM alot, not much needed, so if you were worried about that, dont be. Just buy it!

This is a great app so you can see if your temps are out of control on your computer. I like it, its simple to read, and functions beautifully. More updates means that the developer is paying attention to this app. Got it 50 percent off too, so that always helps!

this app overheats my laptop and fezzes my laptop to the point that i must shut of the temperature gauge app and restart my laptop without temperature gauge, it is very strange and suspicious .

I used this app to tweak my World of Warcraft setup so I could play it on my Air without making the fan come on. I want this laptop to last for several years and Im told keeping it cool helps. Much cheaper than a new laptop.

Great! Handy Tool, Been using for over 3 months now, working awesome! If you are over heating, turn off FANs heat/speed tracking, it does add a little warmth, just a little icon on the top showing the degrees is best, who wants super high detail unless you are having issues.
